Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to services provided by Invisible Interview, Inc. (“we”, “us”, or “Invisible Interview”) and our website, product pages, mobile or web applications, or other digital products that link to or reference this Policy (collectively, the “Services”) and explains what information we collect from users of our Services (a “user”, “you”, or “your”), including information that may be used to personally identify you (“Personal Information”) and how we use it. Any capitalized terms used herein but not defined shall have the meaning set forth in our Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time by posting a new Policy to this page and/or by sending notice to the primary email address specified in your account. Continued use of the Services after a change means your Personal Information is subject to the updated Policy.

Scope and Applicability

This Policy applies to your information when you visit our website or otherwise use the Services. It does not apply where we process Personal Information on behalf of our Customers as a processor/service provider (e.g., Customer Data collected via our Services). In such cases our Customer controls what information is collected, and you should reach out to them directly for applicable privacy information.

This Policy also does not apply to any third-party applications or services that are used in connection with our Services, or to websites we link to. These third parties are independent and operate under their own policies and terms.

What Information Do We Collect?

Information You Provide to Us

  • Account Information. Name, email, profile picture, password, and authentication credentials.
  • Payment Information. If you purchase a subscription, our payment processors (e.g., Stripe) collect your payment method and billing details. We may store limited non-sensitive details (e.g., card type, last four digits, expiration date) to facilitate transactions.
  • Recordings and Other Customer Data. Depending on your use, you (or our Customer) may submit or instruct us to collect audio recordings, transcriptions, screenshots, or other Customer Data to deliver features you request.
  • Business Contact Information. For business representatives, we may collect your contact details and job title to perform or consider an agreement with us.
  • Other Information You Provide. For example, information you share when signing up for webinars, newsletters, research studies, or when contacting support.

Information We Collect Automatically

  • Log Data. IP address, browser type and settings, date/time of request, and interactions with our website.
  • Usage Data. Pages viewed, features used, actions taken, device type, OS, time zone, and similar technical details.
  • Device Information. Device name, operating system, and browser.
  • Analytics. We may use analytics tools (such as Firebase Analytics or PostHog) that use cookies or similar technologies to help us understand usage and improve the Services.

Information We Receive from Third Parties

  • Third-Party Authentication. If you sign up or log in using Google, GitHub, etc., we receive authentication information from those providers.
  • Marketing Information. We may receive marketing/demographic data about you from partners or public sources.
  • Service Providers. Information from vendors who help us operate the Services.
  • Other Sources. Public sources, data providers, integrations you authorize, or transactions such as mergers/acquisitions.

How Do We Use The Information We Collect?

  • To deliver and improve the Services and user experience.
  • To protect, investigate, and deter against fraudulent or illegal activity.
  • To develop, improve, or expand our business, products, and services.
  • For internal reporting, auditing, research, and analytics.
  • To contact you with updates, confirmations, invoices, technical notices, and support messages.
  • To combine with other data we have to improve your experience or notify you about features.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or similar transaction.
  • When required by law or to respond to legal process.
  • To protect our users, the public, and/or the rights or property of Invisible Interview.
  • To maintain the security of the Services.
  • At your direction or with your consent.
  • To create aggregate and de-identified data which we maintain in de-identified form.

Do We Share Your Personal Information?

We may share Personal Information with:

  • Our corporate affiliates and subsidiaries.
  • The applicable Customer when providing Services on their behalf.
  • Service providers supporting our business functions (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing, customer support, security/fraud prevention, audio transcription).
  • Auditors and parties supporting compliance and corporate governance.
  • Parties to a transaction involving a change of ownership or control.
  • Public authorities if required by law or necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Others with your consent or at your direction.

How Do We Use Tracking Technologies?

Some features of the Services use cookies or similar technologies to recognize your browser, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You may delete or block cookies via your browser settings, though some features may not function as intended.

How Do We Secure Your Personal Information?

We take reasonable steps to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or destruction. No data transmission or storage system is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and logging out after each use.

Data Retention

We retain Personal Information while your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. We may retain de-identified or aggregated data, archival/backup copies, or information required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Managing Your Privacy

You may request to review, update, correct, or delete Personal Information associated with your account by contacting hello@invisibleinterview.com or via your account settings. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests. You can opt out of marketing emails via unsubscribe links or account settings.

Do Not Track

We do not alter our practices when we receive a Do Not Track signal because we do not track visitors to provide targeted advertising. Learn more at allaboutdnt.com.

Children Under 16

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of sixteen (16). We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 16. If you believe we collected such information, contact hello@invisibleinterview.com and we will delete it.

Region-Specific Disclosures

California Residents

We do not share Personal Information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes without your consent.

Nevada Residents

You have the right to opt out of the sale of certain Personal Information to third parties who intend to license or sell that information. Email hello@invisibleinterview.com with the subject “Nevada Do Not Sell Request” and include your name and the email associated with your account. We do not currently sell Personal Information as defined by Nevada law.

Users Outside the United States

We operate from the United States. Your Personal Information may be stored and processed in the U.S. or other countries where we or our service providers maintain facilities. By using the Services, you consent to these transfers, which may have different data protection rules than your country.

European Residents

We process information based on consent, to perform our agreement, for our legitimate interests, or to comply with legal obligations. Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to withdraw consent, access, correct, erase, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Where we act as a data processor on behalf of a Customer, please contact the relevant Customer to exercise your rights; we will reasonably cooperate with the Customer to support your request.
